I'm sitting here listening to my wife tell me how great the movie "Titanic" is, but I'm confused. Is Titanic a blockbuster movie which distorts facts for the sake of making money, or a documentary to enlighten those of us who have little experience in the sinking of large ships of which we are a passenger on. As a casual viewer of "Titanic" on TV, to which there is now a commercial showing, no wait, must of started again because my wife just went AHHHH! I say money making blood sucker. I am guessing there wasn't a gunfight, nor women telling men what to do(not that it wouldn't have helped), or poor old blue collar transients hanging off the nose of the beautiful beast with some rich MOFO's date. I am saying that James Cameron and all other Directors/producers are making these movies, of historical events, because they are money sucking leeches with little regard for historical accuracy. I'm sure this has been said thousands of times, but I'm glad to have gotten it off my chest.

  1. Good for you for speaking your mind! We have just seen Avatar and JC (!) is fairly good at animation and computer effects - maybe he should have done the same with Titanic!

Good luck with your common-sense blog,
    Linda
